- 3 / 5By Larry CookI do a lot of hiking at Stone Mountain and I enjoy going to the Pines restaurant occasionally. The
food has always been good but on two occasions when I'm ready to check out the cashiers decide
to tally up the cash register. This happened yesterday and there were about 8 to 10 folks waiting to
pay and get out. This seems to be in poor taste and could be done after all patrons have paid and left.
When I have driven almost a hundred miles to hike and to eat at their restaurant, I don't appreciate
having to wait un nessarily.May 29, 2016
