  I was recommended to la Mexicana by a friend and decided that we would try it one day with the family. We arrived to find a small restaurant and the only table that was large enough was dirty. We had to stand by the front door and wait for it to be cleaned. The trash was removed from the table but was never wiped down. We needed diet and caffeine free drink to which we were told they had none so for those people we had to go to the dollar store a few stores down in the shopping center. We ordered for 8 people and two orders were completely lost and we had to reorder. We also had to remind the waitress several times that we ordered cheese dip, when it did arrive it was just melted cheese that turned solid once it cooled. There was no pepper shakers and the salt shaker was empty so we grabbed one from another table that was all but empty. My wife and son's orders were completely wrong. The end of the meal topped it off when we went to pay our $67.00 bill. The restaurant offers a 10% discount for emergency workers. It took the owner, clerk and the waitress to screw this up. It took me 5 seconds to tell them to move the decimal one place to the left and that is your discount. We all were very dissatisfied and will not be back.
